Huawei’s Harmony OS appears to be a third – force in the OS market behind Android and iOS. This includes mobile phones, tabs, watches and multiple smart home devices. It was launched in June 2021 and has since been adopted by a growing number of Huawei devices. Harmony OS 3 is the latest version of Huawei‘s distributed OS, designed to connect and coordinate multiple smart devices on the Internet of Things ( IoT) ecosystem. In addition, there are 39 devices in the public beta stage. As of now, a total of 101 devices have entered the upgrade stage of the official version of Harmony OS 3. In terms of overall progress, Huawei is doing pretty well with the upgrade list. Thanks to Huawei’s optimization, after upgrading Harmony OS 3, the experience of these Kirin veterans will be further improved. With these devices, Huawei was able to go head-on with the likes of Apple and Samsung.
Especially after the Mate 10 series with a top overall texture, design, and performance. They were milestones for Huawei to gain a firm foothold in the high-end market. These devices hit the market in 20, respectively, and launched with Kirin 970 processors. Among the devices on the list, the Huawei P20/ Mate 10 series were pretty decent flagships at the time they hit the market.
