
Carole was an avid young readerĪs a Native American child, I never saw myself in books. I knew in my heart I would write books one day. Sunday I would spend in my room reading the books.

It was down the street from my house, and I practically lived there on Saturday. I spent a great deal of time at the library as a child. What inspired you to write for young readers?
