Though, as one of the most confusing and pressing issues of the Riordanverse, Disney will have to figure out how such different pantheons of gods who claim dominion of the same elements and places could coexist in the same world, as Riordan himself hasn't solved that yet. It could resonate even more with fans than the MCU, as ancient folklore would feel closer to home and heart than the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man slinging around in New York City. This kind of franchise would appeal to different cultures and people across the globe. And with unlimited possibilities beyond Riordan's books, Disney can create a fully interconnected mythology of mythologies with all the different tales and fables from around the world. The Riordanverse is wild, with each story acknowledging each other and even weaving together at certain points.
